Jesus got into the boat followed by his disciples. Without warning a storm broke over the lake, so violent that
the waves were breaking right over the boat. But he was asleep. So they went to him and woke him saying, ‘Save us, Lord,
we are going down!’ And he said to them, ‘Why are you so frightened, you men of little faith?’ And with
that he stood up and rebuked the winds and the sea; and all was calm again. The men were astounded and said, ‘Whatever
kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him.’ |

Why are you so frightened:
Trust is what is needed. When Jesus is in one's soul and life; all the rest of the world around us can be faling apart;
but no harm will touch us.
Temptation to fear is quite natural when our soul is beset by trials and doubts; we must know, however, that Jesus will
never let any harm come to the souls of His faithful.
He is ever ready to take us into His Heart and hold us there till the storms pass by; we have only to run to Him.
"Why are you frightened?" Jesus asks you. "Why not come to Me and I will make all things right and calm"
Jesus calms every storm and carries us across the long desert. Run to Him, trust Him and give Him your all.
